The Oregon Registry and Oregon Registry Online

  • The Oregon Registry: Pathways for Professional Recognition in Childhood Care and Education is a statewide program that records and recognizes the professional development growth and achievement of people who work with and for children and family. Participation in the Oregon Registry is increasingly seen as an important tool for professional development in our state.

  • The Oregon Registry has expanded to include an online component we call Oregon Registry Online (ORO). This is a statewide database that stores all submitted training and education to be verified for system use, such as the Office of Child Care licensing needs and the Department of Human Services (DHS) Enhanced Rate Program. It will produce a training and education statement for each person who has an account. This online component includes a Training Calendar and will provide participants online access to their own training and education accounts.

  • You can use your Professional Development Statement (PDS) to track how many hours you have completed in combination with the Oregon Registry Steps document to determine what your next step will be.

The Oregon Registry Steps document is available at https://www.pdx.edu/occd/oregon-registry-educators/#Resources.

  • Login to Oregon Registry Online at https://my.oregonregistryonline.org. Click “My training,” then select “Professional development statement.” Click “Step Certificate PDF” under ACTIONS to the left and your certificate will be downloaded for printing.
